Daniel Skjevik-Aasberg

Daniel Skjevik-Aasberg is a member of the firm’s group for dispute resolution and employment law. He primarily works with employment and company law related issues as well as regulatory affairs and frequently solves disputes in relation to these topics.
Daniel worked at the Norwegian Parliament as a political advisor with the responsibility for employment and social policy. In parliament he participated in developing the current Norwegian employment regulation, the regulations regarding pensions, social benefits and social security and welfare policy. He has also been a communications advisor to the Conservative Party's MPs in the Judicial Affairs Committee and the Education and Research Committee.
Daniel previously worked as an advisor at the PA and consulting agency Zynk, where he assisted large companies with public affairs, governmental relations, strategic positioning and analysis. He has broad experience from various businesses, but especially from the finance, technology, industry and energy sector as well as the major Norwegian trade organizations.
He has extensive political experience from both the local and national level. He was acting President and Vice President of the Norwegian Young Conservatives, served on the Conservative Party's National Committee, was a deputy MP and a municipality councillor in Narvik. He has also worked closely with developing new national climate and environmental policies.
Daniel has held a number of board positions in various organisations and companies and regularly gives lectures on the board of directors’ liability as well as employment law.
