Vidar Johnsen

Vidar Johnsen primarily works with contract law matters, and he is specialised in construction law including EPCI contracts and PPP structures. In addition, he is specialised in IP law matters, more specifically within patent law and patent litigation. He regularly litigates for the ordinary courts and in arbitration, and he is also regularly appointed as arbitrator in international arbitration proceedings.

Johnsen is a key-contributor to the growing Norwegian renewable energy industries, and he has over the last years been counselling on major energy development projects abroad, and holds experience both from Europe, Africa, Asia and South-America.

Johnsen is also a key resource coming to SANDS’ focus on and support to the evolving and promising technology and innovation industries, and he assists a number of companies within the pharmaceutical, biotech and medtech sectors.

Vidar Johnsen always seems to find good solutions that often provide out-of-court settlements that the client is satisfied with.
