Alf Øystein Skudal is head of the firm’s Renewable Energy department. He specializes in renewable energy, corporate law and transactions.
Alf Øystein has for more than 20 years worked primarily for the renewable energy industry. He has extensive experience within the regulatory framework, and has been in charge of complex assessments, reorganizations, transactions and developments within energy production based on hydro, wind, district heating, solar etc., electricity trading as well as within the grid sector. Further, Alf Øystein’s experience includes power purchase agreements (PPAs), hydrogen projects, data centres, development of charging network for electric vehicles etc, as well as governance structures for publicly and privately owned energy companies.
Øystein has advised in several of the larger reorganisations and transactions within the renewable energy sector during the recent years, and has been involved in both structuring of transactions based on the regulatory framework and drafting and negotiation of transaction agreements. He has extensive experience from several national and international co-operation projects, and is experienced in establishment of joint ventures and drafting of co-operation agreements for development and implementation of new technology.
