Green Technology and Innovation
Long-term competitiveness requires companies to have a strategic approach to sustainability, and this is precisely why innovation projects with a positive effect on the environment are prioritised when granting grants from public schemes and investments from private schemes. For a number of years, SANDS has worked with Norway’s leading innovation environments, and we have a close collaboration with a number of university environments in Norway and their technology transfer units and incubators. Our lawyers have solid knowledge of and experience with the development and management of green technology and innovation and assist clients in ensuring that sustainability is at the centre throughout the company’s life cycle, from the startup phase through the growth phase and up to sale or stock market listing. Our work for these clients includes, among other things, assistance with managing and securing intellectual property rights, entering into agreements and commercial collaborations, licensing, and financing.
