Saida Begum

Saida Begum is affiliated with the construction law department at SANDS’ offices in Oslo. She has particular expertise within construction law, contract law and dispute resolution.

Saida has extensive political experience as a former state secretary, mayoral candidate in Oslo, political adviser on judicial affairs for the Conservative Party in the Norwegian Parliament and over 10 years as an elected member of Oslo City Council. She has previously worked with public administration, political communication, strategy work and crisis management. This work has given her a good insight into political processes both locally and nationally, and she assists with strategic advice on the intersection of law, politics and administration.
