Kaja Skille Hestnes

Kaja Skille Hestnes is part of the firm's intellectual property group. She works primarily with intellectual property matters.

Kaja also has wide-ranging and broad experience in proceedings and procedure, including numerous years as deputy judge in Oslo District Court and Vestfold District Court. She is a part of SANDS dispute resolution and litigation team.

She holds a Master of Laws from the University of Oslo, with specialization in intellectual property law. She wrote her master’s thesis as a research assistant at the Department of Private Law. She is also an examiner and supervisor for master's theses in intellectual property law at the University of Oslo and the University of Bergen. Kaja has also for numerous years been an examiner for various legal subjects at the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, and has been an examiner in intellectual property law subjects at the University of Oslo and University of Agder.

Kaja is also part of SANDS’ forensic services team, and assists with her expertise within investigation, compliance and risk management. She also assists clients with privacy law issues.
