Kristin Solevåg

Kristin Solevåg works in the firm’s department for insurance and liability and has extensive experience from consultancy and dispute resolution for insurance companies, banks and industry parties. Kristin has special expertise within insurance and compensation law, contract law and procedure. She inter alia has broad experience related to professional responsibilities, advisory responsibilities, board responsibilities and product responsibilities. She also has experience in counselling and dispute resolution originating in the Alienation Act in connection with the purchase and sale of real estate.

Kristin has a background as an in-house lawyer and has been responsible for a number of projects involving the development and interpretation of framework conditions and product and system development in the insurance industry. She has extensive experience with claims audits for insurance and reinsurance companies. She undertakes investigative assignments and can assist with advice and second opinions in insurance matters. In addition, she has specialist expertise in personal injury law, including occupational accidents.

Kristin has extensive procedural experience and regularly litigates before the courts in connection with compensation cases for the firm’s clients.
